      Insideline tested the new C63 AMG coupe and the results are what we expected and pretty darn good. 12.3@116 is no surprise but they managed to do this on street tires at California Speedway in Fontana. On better rubber and in better weather along with a P31 package will propel the car well into the 11's, stock. The curb weight is pretty much the same as the sedan although Mercedes quoted numbers have the sedan at 3,924. The coupe does not offer any performance advantage over the sedan other than center of gravity.

        What a beast. I sat in one at the Chicago Auto Show. It gave me a pretty good "WOW FACTOR" compared to the E92 M3 that was in display.

        Actually 451hp. P31 has 480hp which is really 500hp+. Its a good thing c63 is a pig. lol

        Yep, the P31 is considerably faster than the M3. Great package by Mercedes.

        Yea, that's $#@!ing retarded. The m3 comes with 265 and they barely have any torque lol. I have 255 up front to put down my power, and that already barely works. It needs to be fitted with some 285's.

        Yeah - they couldn't have cheaped out more on that M3. It had nearly any options (no edc, stock stereo, cloth seats IIRC (white m3)) - just didn't make me feel "proud" of it if that makes any sense.
