      Yes, you read it right. 692rwhp with an HPF Stage 2 running AEM. We swapped in the new Precision 6766 turbo and turned the boost up from 13psi to 15psi on Gus's brutal M3. This car has quite a bit of weight removed and has an amazing powerband. It pulls so hard and so clean. The torque is almost perfectly flat to red-line which makes driving it so amazing. This is the perfect track powerband. Gus has the ECU unlocked so he can make any changes he wants and do datalogging himself. Enjoy Gus.

        692 whp on stock internals with a Stage II? Why is this making more power than other Stage II's? The different turbo?

        Do you use this turbo in other Stages?

        Yep, saw it was uncorrected. Still, respectable and a great achievement. Basically ~700 on stock internals, props.

        Hrmmi how long will it last? For a motor with high compression its okay I guess, but I think its a ticking time bomb.

        I haven't driven a HPF car ever. Honestly. Yes with a built motor it would be awesome, but without SAE numbers its doesn't mean much to me.

        the owner is claiming to be able to hook on nt05s in 1st. i can't hook those tires in 2nd and i dynoed less than this stage 2.

        itll be interesting to see if that bigger hotside (6766) will give the low comp built motors (like a 2.5) a better curve instead of falling off up top.

        I have to agree with you on this. The response is likely still close to stock I assume.

        the response IS stock. its stock compression.
        what i meant by ultimate 54 turbo setup is powerband. high comp built motor @18/17psi high boost map is what i've always wanted and what i initially asked hpf for before the low comp 2.5 build.

        id like to see someone try to use sport mode on a sucker like that!

        HPF offers great support and supports the community and industry better than just about anyone with their informative threads. They continually do great documentation of all their work, pretty much better than anyone .

        That said, there are other vendors who pay more here so don't think HPF has some kind of special treatment. I just really appreciate what they do.

        So the big turbo doesn't affect throttle response time at all?

        its relatively small... the 6766. you could go smaller but then youd suffer up top. if people think a stage 2 is sluggish they should try a 6266.
        anyway, you get all the throttle response of a NA s54 (becuause its at stock comp) plus the 6766 when it comes online. every increase per pound of pressure is felt waaaay more in the high comp s54.

        i put alot of thought into what i wanted after completing stage 2. 18-17psi on that 67mm is what i thought would be wet dream material for a street car.

        id think a 6768 would be better for a low comp s54 to insure you don't fall off up top.

        first off these are the new turbos they have been testing different from the older stage 2 kit, and anyone that thinks 700 hp on stock internals is not impressive is a dummy! I doubt it is a ticking time bomb either HPF does extensive R&D with a warranty no way it is a dud!

        I agree with you, this is how I would build it.
