      We all like the word speedster in connection with Porsche. It should bring up images of a classic 356 with the top down. In recent years Porsche has attempted to recreate this nostalgia with a speedster version of the 911 with a hardtop in place of the automatic folding rear softop to save weight. It was also done to commemorate 25 years of Porsche Exclusive customization. On the new 991 generation Porsche 911 though this rendering just seems to give it a hump back look. Not all that attractive and we doubt Porsche will do it again anyway.

        that hump looks a bit awkward in the render, maybe too big?

        It's like it has a lump. I would just rather have a regular cab.

        He is misunderstanding how spyder and speedster nomenclature is used. He thought they were both the same thing.

        there is a difference between the 911 Cab and 911 Speedster.

        Having owned an 89 Speedster for 14 years and a Spyder for 1 year I am fully aware of all the differences between the standard and specials
