      We think BMW is taking these model variants a little too far but BMW is going to do what BMW is going to do. The new BMW 4 Series is going to have 3 different variants. The F32 4 Series coupe, F33 4 Series cabriolet/convertible, and the F35 4 Series Gran Coupe. It probably is not that bad of an idea considering that Mercedes is prepping a baby CLS, the CLC. Check out the rendering of the F35 below.

        What about the $#@!ty looking GT variant? is it gonna have 3-series name or 4-series?

        GT variant will be 3 I believe.

        the right question would be is what's the difference between 3-series and grancoupe? Gran Coupe is a 4 door version of Coupe, and Coupe is a 2 door version of 3-Series sedan. Doesn't make sense at all.

        This new model strategy is starting to hurt my head...not sure how they think having so may models right in the same price range, size and performance level is going to work to their benefit.

        I think it's my next car... The 6 is to big and to much show off for customer visits and this is more sporty then a 5er.... so pop in a nice engine and voila...
