• Porsche 991 GT3 spotted testing, coming as a 2013 model

      Nobody should be shocked that a new GT3 is on the way from Porsche with the next generation 991. The vehicle was spotted testing and will have the center exit exhaust we have all grown to love. The real question is what will be done to the motor? Will the 991 GT3 simply pick up from where the 997 GT3 RS 4.0 left off? We expect no less than 4.0 liter flat-6 with 500 horsepower based on the GT1 racing block. We do not see Porsche taking a step backward and they have set the bar very high with the 4.0 GT3 RS. A PDK is hopefully in the cards as well.

        This will be exciting to see! As you mentioned, it'll be pretty tough to top the GT3RS 4.0I'm pretty excited for all these new M cars and Porsches, although it will make my next toy rather hard to commit to....

        Hehe, I sure am. I am back at that fork in the road where I am trying to plan out what the next car will be. I am so torn between fixing up an older car as a project or buying a new pure sports car for weekend fun. Unfortunately for me, I am the most indecisive when it comes to cars. Having BimmerBoost, BenzBoost, and PorscheBoost in one convenient location is not making it any easier... Click here to enlarge

        Oh wow, that'll DEFINITELY make things more convenient. I was simply referring to just having those "Boost Network" links up top, kind of like a Bookmark, haha.

        Oh sorry for the confusion. I meant that I currently love having those links at the top, that was what I originally meant by having everything in one location. It makes navigating between sites very easy and fast!

        With the upcoming GermanBoost, I think things will be even more convenient and efficient having the actual forums in one central location.

        Hopefully that makes more sense. Either way, I enjoy the content of all your sites. I like the fact that people here are more interested in sharing performance data, engineering behind products, and car comparisons. It sure beats all the other forums that are concerned about being "hellaflush" and looking good hardparked.

        Why did you call it german boost? Now that rules out pretty much every car company that isnt german, no ferrari section.

        Because I need to focus on the core aspects before expanding. You have no idea how hard it already is with 5.

        Just take a look and tell me what you think.

        Additionally, an all German niche is not bad. We can grow and change it later but for now let's focus on what we have and get them all going before spreading too thin.
