      Many automotive sites are reporting that Audi is receiving criticism for their styling starting to look the same. Frankly, AudiBoost believes it is unjustified. Audi has some of the best and most progressive styling out there. Their designs seem to be the most modern out of all the German brands. BMW used to be in this pitfall pre-Bangle and the transition was awkward. Audi made it work and continues to update their styles frequently as seen with recent face-lifts to their models.

      Design director Stefan Sielaff confirmed at a recent even that Audi will attempt to differentiate the styling of its models more. Whether this is a good or bad thing depends on the result but the R8, new A6, new A8, and A5 facelift all look very nice and progressive. Audi's concepts have also pushed the styling envelope. What do you think?

        I think Audi has been doing an amazing job in the design department. It all started from the b8 a4, s5, and R8 - those models were a HUGE progress from the old models <b7, but then again the s5 and r8 are very new. Btw I'm still waiting for BMW to make a model that competes with the R8 or SLS AMG, guess they are too busy playing with RC toys.

        Funny you bring this up.
        Just as Audi is rethinking their design line.
        In the near future they plan to switch to a AQR design lines, where A = Audi = sedan line, Q = quattro= SUV line and R = sportsline.
        All 3 lines are supposed to get their own front and back design features.

        I haven't really cared past the B5 chassis.

        TT-RS is pretty cool though.

        x2, If anything the Bmw designs blend with each other. The 5 and 7 look identical, you can only tell if you're like 30 feet away lol

        That is what I was thinking, BMW is starting to blend together.
