      The 2.5 liter naturally aspirated inline-5 was not all too popular and with pressure on improved MPG and emissions a smaller turbo 4 will be taking over. This engine has nothing in common with the old 1.8T other than the displacement and is a derivative of the current 2.0TSI motor. The motor puts out 158 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque. Going into entry level models we expect tuning of this motor to become very popular. The engine code is EA888 for those interested.
