      Fifth Gear videos are a lot of fun to watch and this one is no exception. Tiff really likes the C63 and states it is much, much more fun to drive. You can tell as he drifts it just about everywhere he goes on the track saying it provides more driver satisfaction. The C63 hits a higher top speed on the track by 4 MPH but is beat around the track by 1.7 seconds by the Audi RS5. The track is damp and this is mentioned in the video which is a real disadvantage to the high powered and RWD C63. British reviews become pretty much pointless when they compare an all wheel drive car to a RWD car on a wet track. In the dry, we would expect this to be much closer with the edge likely going to the C63.

        I really like the facelifted RS5 a lot but the C63 is clearly the better performer. Comparing AWD to RWD in the wet is just kind of lame, I hate how they do this. Ok, AWD can put the power down better out of turns on a damp track. That doesn't mean I'm taking a Nissan Juke over a C63 or that I have any desire to race in the rain for that matter.

        Those british bastards need to get a life and wake up. A C63 rapes an Audi RS5 any day and anytime of this living world. Its amazing how those fuken morons can actually convince other morons with thier stupid propaganda against MB.

        I don't think it is necessarily propaganda as much as it is simply it rains a lot in Britain. I just hate that they test in the wet all the time, it's stupid.

        Some people will see this and think the RS5 is faster. The people that do think this though are idiots.

        I love Clarkson, he is very funny somehow. I love the whole Top Gear show. You just have to have some common sense, when watching Top Gear. I imagine a lot of people believes what comes out of his mouth. If they are that stupid, then they deserve to believe all of Clarkson's bullsh1t.

        I could not agree more.
        Top Gear is my favorite car show, I would not miss it for the world.
        But people buying a car based upon a Top Gear review should have their heads examed.
        That is not what this show is for.

        im a audi driver but im know for a fact the C63 is a beast... yes if you buy a car based off the "reviews" you should be shot BUT sometimes if you just listen to what they are saying its a small percentage true...

        either way i love top gear and fifth gear... they got me through Afghanistan without me losing my mind...lol

        You know Clarkson is a huge AMG fan, right? His daily driver is a CLK63 Black Series (unless he got something new) and a few years ago he had an SL55 which he raved about.

        If you think Top Gear is about reviewing cars, then I think that's your problem. It's very clearly an entertainment show but it gets REALLY annoying when idiots take the things they say seriously. I absolutely love watching Top Gear but I pretty much hate all British reviewers because they are incredibly arrogant and seem oblivious to the fact that almost all of them have nearly no driving ability.

        When they do a drag race or compare a few cars around a circuit, they always just do one take. Even when one of them screws up the launch (or whatever) they still maintain that the other car won instead of redoing the race...the whole point of recording the damn show ahead of time is so you can do as many takes as you need to GET IT RIGHT.

        How do you know they don't show the best lap or race? It's not like it is presented live, they edit.

        Have you ever watched the show? I'm talking about when they do a race between two cars, you can almost always see one of them screws up the launch or short shifts and then they still pretend like the result is valid.

        Best Motoring, as much as I loved it, was REALLY guilty of this. I remember they had an episode where they claimed a Lamborghini Murcielago had trouble getting away from the GT-R behind it...well, when they showed the cockpit view you could see the driver was shifting at like 6,500 instead of 8,000.

        Yes. And often it isn't perfect on the clip but I highly doubt they only do 1 run when they can edit. That would be the laziest automotive journalism ever.
