      This oil and air seperator can be used on stock cars to cars that are highly modified even with superchargers. What does it do? It reduces oil retention by the engine and reduces knock. Essentially, better for your motor assisting longevity and acting as a preventative measure. From Weistec, "As the excess crankcase pressure is vented through the PCV valve and into the intake manifold the engine will eventually draw in, not only air which is wanted, but also particles of aerated oil which creates instability in power due to the low octane level of oil."

        LOL, ya they are griping about the cost...$35k motor and people saying it should retail for $100-$200. These are the same d bags that probably run non-synthetic at oild change time and run regular unleaded at the pump.

        There will be some that don't understand what machining a piece out of solid billet aluminum cost, the CNC programming, the R&D, The cost of materials and equipment. I mean AN fitting alone on this kit are not cheap. Weistec has pulled off enough intake manifolds that they are seeing that this problem repeat itself. IMO, if you want to trust a cheap universal cash can than so be it. Or you can make a small investment in a company that knows your engine and has made a product designed for it. If someone is in the market for a product like this for there 63. I wouldn't look any place else. This is a real quality looking product.

        Some of these gys have no problem spending big bucks on useless "bling" but god forbid a tuner devolops a useful product...it must be a waste of money LMAO.

        That was one of the ones that got me...what a $#@!in tool. I know...it's soooooo offensive that someone would price this thing over $500 that it would make you change your mind about buying the blower. LOL.

        I really don't think one would have to go to that extreme. If anything, they should pat you on the back for running it.

        What's really comical is that these dumbasses complaining about it being overpriced compared to some off the shelf item for say $200 don't even realize that the same $200 catch can really only costs about $50 in materials while the Weistec unit probably has something like $300 in high quality materials. So the cheap ass made in China $200 catch can is actually marked up higher than the Weistec unit if you look at sheer numbers....Yet these idiots would rather be gouged more so they can save a few bucks. Makes no sense at all. I bet these are the same guys who got their c63 as a graduation gift for maintaining a sold B average in college LOL.

        Man thats some high quality $#@!. Those fittings average 20 a piece. Plus with all the r&d design going into it, I wonder if there is a way I can retrofit it to a bmw!

        Haha, a wise man (the guy above my post) told me that you have to pay to play...why would you pay that much money for a car then complain about 500 bucks? I'm all for saving money and all that, but from what I gathered about Weistec is that they are the go to guys to take the M156/M159 to the next step. Haha, if these engines were widespread then it could be 200 bucks, but I bet most of those guys over there bought the car to get something unique...You can't eat your cake and have it too...
