      All chrome paint jobs are tacky. Yes, tacky even if an OEM does it. However, that does not mean we do not want to see it. BMW for whatever reason decided to create a Chrome Bullet M3 with chrome paint obviously as well as M color accents. BMW uploaded the photos of the car to their M Facebook page without much supplementary info but from what we can gather this is just a one off showcar. Cool to see, but BMW's chrome shadow paint job on the E46 M3 concept was just plain better than this as it wasn't so ostentatious, looked great, and actually could be pulled off in public.

        It's one of the better chrome cars I've seen, but the stripes make really tacky.

        what kind of Red is that on that ZCP M3? Melbourne red? damn it's gorgeous.

        Takes a lot of work to paint a car in chrome. Saw it on West Coast Customs, they did an Audi R8. Nice M3!

        Uh, kind of tacky. OK, it is. Sorena is right, that red E92 M3 is sweet. Dayumm!!!!

        They need to buff the paint, looks like they didn't finish it.

        they did that on purpose, that is why this car pulls it off! The tacky looking ones are way too shiny the unbuffed hazy aspect of this paint job is what i think pulls it off!

        It would have to be taken outside for that to happen. Looks like this will just tour indoor areas.

        Good thinking, although I do remember seeing a custom chrome painted M3. Anyone seen any car chrome painted in person?

        I've seen some in UAE. 599, SLR, Range Rover, F430, Gallardo and some others.

        I think it's done well with bmw... they have it looking not too shiny and not too dull.
