Renntech M157 91 octane tunes on a Performance Package 2012 S63 AMG and 2012 CLS 63 AMG closing in on 600 wheel horsepower
The last time we showed you the Renntech tunes on the on the performance package M157 they were putting down 558 whp on a dynojet with STD correction. On 91 octane Renntech is now closing in on 600 whp putting out 583 whp but the torque numbers slightly dipped to 635 vs. 653 previously. The CLS 63 AMG here was presented to us as a performance package car as well but the baseline dyno is much lower than what a performance package car should put down therefore we feel it is a standard CLS 63 AMG. If so, it just goes to show one can get greater gains for less money by opting not to purchase the performance package. Renntech is still tweaking these tunes but the results thus far are impressive.
