      Here is the video everyone has been waiting for. This is the first of what we believe will be many 10 second supercharged M156 V8 (63 AMG) Mercedes vehicles. The car was run in the Summer heat of Southern California at the Fontana drag strip which is notoriously slow. Density altitude went up over 3000 during the day yet the car still managed to hit 10's which is certainly impressive. 275/40/17 Mickey Thompson drag radials were used along with lightweight seats and race gas. Congratulations to Weistec and JRCART.

        Did anyone notice I long I had to sit and wait while the idiot in the GT-R rolled through the lights? Meanwhile my tires were cooling and my engine temps were rising.

        Congrats to Weistec and Jim for running a 10 anything in that weather.

        Did you manage to get a 60-130 out of the V-box? I bet it would be 7s or under on that pass easy.

        Question, and please don't take this the wrong way because its valid based on whats been posted here, how do you think the car will perform now vs when it was nat asp on back to back to back passes? It seems like the nat asp guys lke mthis dodger propain and more get their best times and mph on pass five or six of seven in a row. Now that your forced induction does more time between passes help or is it like it was nat asp?

        Yep, I've been frustrated with this same thing at both private and public run times. Best to just let him stage first and let him wait for you.

        I do not see how a positive displacement blower would not generate more heat, it has to. That does not mean their cooling solution does not have the capacity to handle back to back. It is an interesting point though.

        that's a valid question that I can not answer because I only made 4 passes on Saturdale because there were literally a couple hundred cars at the event which made hot lapping impossibe. I can tell you that the car has had extensive dyno testing with back to back to back runs with no ill effects aa well as extensive city driving in socal july heat. I won't be able to comment on hot lapping until I get it out at a private rental.

        Ok watched the in car vid a few times and now have another question, why was carts body jerking to the side on every upshift? Not backward from the force of the power of the car, but sideways? Also looks and sounds like a bit of a short shift on the one two shift. You'd think with that much power 2 hands would be on the wheel no?

        Great run, looks like the track was shiny with vht didn't seem like traction was lost? Nice shifting if that was s mode as stated looks like with the right setup u guys will have some good runs

        One more question cart, vid says stock cams but in the last thread with dynos on here it was posted your car had sls cams, did you switch back to your 63 cams or are they still sls. sls can mean stock too so thx for your info.

        Never made it out to the raod course. We didn't leave the track till after 10:30 and then had an hour drive back to the shop, there was no time to switch back to road race suspension set up.
