• Protomotive PE1000 996 turbo embarasses a Switzer R911 997 turbo in roll on races

      Hard to believe there is such a large disparity here between the cars. The exact specs are not given but we know the Protomotive car is a 996 with around 1000 horsepower and the 997 is a Switzer R911 package with a tiptronic transmission. We have attached a Switzer R911 dyno below which puts out very healthy 851 whp so we do not understand how the Protomotive car is so much damn stronger.

        I refused to sell my transmission kit to the one of the vendors there, because i understood he was trying to copy my kit.

        That a**hole reported me to the moderators for using the forum for trade purpose etc...

        I think the guy that is known at 6speedonline from protomotive is called marksky or something. He has video of his 996tt being redlined on neutral and the engine takes it like a champ. Funny is that that 996tt gets killed by an underground racing tt Gallardo.

        I see lot of talk about Switzer/Protomotive but Evoms still build fastest P-cars. Look at mile, quarter, and 60-130.

        It would be nice but it will never happen. All these big HP cars in middle east, why don't they post 60-130 times??

        Not sure but maybe they just aren't interested in 60-130. Not everyone is and some people just build their cars for themselves.

        Allegedly, the Proto car (absolutely sick, btw) is 1000+ whp, rwd, and (inherently) several hundred lbs lighter than the 997TT Tip. Vid makes sense to me. Click here to enlarge

        Those would be some huge differences and yes, if all true, makes sense.

        I think we will start to see a lot more modded GT-Rs showing up in the Middle East and elsewhere. Not only is base price $50-60K lower but then you can mod it to a higher performance level than a Porsche turbo. The GTRs are running 3.3s 60-130. Simply amazing.
