      E90 3 Series production will end later this year. Before it ends, BMW will offer the Performance Edition which boosts horsepower by 20 and torque by 32 pound-feet. Basically, it is the Stage 1 BMW performance software included in a package with black kidney grills and Performance Edition badging for $550. Reality is you can get more performance in the aftermarket for less money. We would prefer a real performance BMW, like the GTS or CRT.

      The Performance Edition is available for either 'i' or 'xi' models which means you can have it with all wheel drive if you desire. To get you must also order the sport package on the 'i' and M-sport on the 'xi' models. The option code is ZMZ for those interested.

        Most people that own 335i's aren't on the forums, they don't know anything about the tunes available. They just lease their car and drive. Why not check that option box off, for a little more power? Hell it is only $550, that isn't $#@!.

        so whats the points of the 335is if its like another 5k more for the same $#@!?

        This is actually a decent deal for the average BMW customer and I would have checked the box if it was offered on the F10 535 because it is the wife's car and have no plans to get a tune. I am still working on her though.

        335is has more torque (overboost), optional DCT, and addtional cooling.
