Yep, and I am very pissed off about that but it is the competitor. Unfortunately, Europe will get to have the cool comparison instead of us.

If Mercedes brings this car to the USA, which looks like they are, they are gaining more and more of my respect over BMW.

Just need to see the cost and full specs on this thing to know if I want to trade the M3 in.

The way I see it the M3 GTS is a failed attempt to make a GT3 RS competitor. Not aimed at the C63 Black Series. The Black Series is more like a regular GT3.

Technically it can't be aimed at the C63 Black Series because it came out before it (although BMW might have known it was coming) but a more apt comparison than the GT3 RS (which is already based on a 2 seat sports car) is the C63 AMG Black Series which shares a starting point far more common to the M3's.

I hate that comparo personally as it has no real numbers.

The M3 GTS and the C63 Black Series will be matched up head to head, only a matter of time.

Ok, but the best matchup is the M3 GTS vs. the C63 Black Series which will obviously happen and have to happen in Europe. I want to see that head to head more than anything else.

We know the M3 GTS is going to lose between the 3. Thats why to me it boils down to GT3 vs C63 Black.

US wont even see those lightweight seats because of airbag rules.

I think the M3 will lose a swell, but the most logical comparison is as stated. It will have to be a GT3 by default in the USA.

Well the C63 has way more power and we dont know by how much the weight was reduced

Rumors are 44 pounds, likely due to those seats.

I can't get over how great it looks.

so the US spec will not be much lighter?
I wish we got the good seats here, just like the CLK BS in Europe, these puppies won't make it here either.

Either way, that car looks killer--I wonder what kind of meat is on those rears?
By the looks of the "conservative" fender flares, I'm guessing 285ish.

I sure it comes in much lighter than the regular C63 coupe--I guess we'll see, either way it looks evil!

The wheels and seats looks like a good lbs reduction.

Looks great but the regular C63 should have looked like this to begin with. The fender flares on the C63 are virtually non existent and these seem small for a black series. JMO
