      Most of you know that BMW launched the first modern production 6 cylinder bike this year, the K1600 GT and GTL. Visor Down reports BMW wants to get more out of the development cost of the motor by putting it into a sport bike. It makes sense to us and BMW did release the Concept 6 bike which featured a sport bike based on the 6 cylinder powerplant. The bike would effectively replace the K1300R but would need some massaging as the K1300 4 cylinder puts out 173 horsepower vs. 160 HP of the 6 in the K1600 GT and GTL.

        What an awesome bike! I bet it feels torquey... I've never rode an I6 bike. So this is 1.6L?

        Ha I'm already trying to imagine how you would route the exhaust for a turbo kit.... probably would make an insane mile bike!

        Just hope they make it look like the concept.

        If they are still showing this concept then the production model should be around 90%-95% of the concept. That is a bad ride!!!!!!!!

        They aren't showing the concept officially anymore but the production bike would be a similar idea to the concept.
