      We are a bit jealous of the other side of the world for this one. Earlier this year a competition was held for owners of the Gran Turismo 5 signature edition. In this competition, people from all over the world (except North America it seems) would compete in their region to see who could set the fastest laptimes in the virtual SLS AMG. The finalists have been picked and now they all are going to the Red Bull Ring in Austria to try their hands at the real thing. Judges will pick the winner who goes home with a real SLS, awesome.

        Bastards! the Red Bull ring (the old A1 ring) is my favorite track. Why does the US always get screw when it comes to cars?

        BTW what's F1 2010? never tried it.

        F1 2010 is F1 2010... it's a Formula 1 game for the 2010 season.

        Yup, Great racing game. It be rather pointless to get it now though, since Codemasters will be releasing F1 2011 on 23 September.

        It's a great racing sim. I like alot better than Forza and GT5. The cars drive like you would expect a F1 car to drive. You get to experience all the weather changes, car problems and upgrades, and tyre wear. The career gameplay is the best. You start of racing for HRTor Virgin racing and work your way up to the top teams. Each team sets a realistic goal for you to achieve, so in HRT, you have to be better than your team mate and Virgin racing. if you get to Ferrari, Red Bull and Mclaren, then you have to win titles.

        I stopped playing F1 racing sims long time ago.
        I can not in any way relate the speeds, cornering and braking to my day to day driving, or trackdays for that matter.
        It's just not realistic for me. Or maybe too realistic, but even the racing lines learned with an F1 car can not be followed exactly with a roadcar due to lack of downforce and mechanical grip. So, nice but fairly pointless IMHO

        GT5 is helas a console game, so won't play that either...

        Nope but it was in B-spec mode so I don't think that means they drove it themselves. Not really sure what B-spec mode is...

        Really??? You got to be kidding me.

        B-spec means you just tell the AI to push the car or go easy. Pretty much you play the team race chief. I get the GT Academy contest, but this really?

        Yes, really. I think they did it to open the game up to more people so it wouldn't just be kids who race all day/night.
