      A few days ago we posted an article detailing the Insideline test of the 2012 A7 which has the same supercharged V6 motor as this A6. Well, the A6 put up similar numbers although it hit 102 mph vs. 101. Basically, the cars are a wash with the A6 only being about 30 pounds lighter. The numbers are pretty good but imagine what they would both do if they had DSG's instead of automatics.

        This. And is this a direct competitor to the 535 XDrive? We just bought one a couple of weeks ago and love it(Wifes car, Im getting the 1M). Do you have these same stats from insideline for the 535xdrive to compare?

        Currently, yes. We will be getting a 4.0 V8 twin turbo in the S6 and a 4.0 twin turbo V8 in the RS6.

        Well yes, it would be the competitor to the 535 X-drive but also the 535's in general.

        The Audi Supercharged V6 is actually pretty stout. They are close crank HP wise, not sure why the F10 got its ass kicked by 7 mph in the 1/4. The 535xi should be even slower...

        Don't get 535xi, it's dog slow. the biggest disadvantage is you can drive it in snow too, but you will crash it anyway.
