      Despite having the pole position and the starting 1-2, the Mercedes drivers were not able to hold off Audi from scoring a 1-2 victory. Bruno Spengler ran a great race but finished in third. Gary Paffett was in fourth. Spengler now loses his top position in the driver standings falling one point behind Audi's Martin Tomczyk. Spengler said he was happy to finish on the podium but is looking forward to the next race.
