Audi wins 2011 Le Mans despite setbacks - 10th victory since 2000

This is going to be a special victory for Audi. A dramatic victory despite major setbacks in the race with two of their three LMP1 cars retiring after
dramatic crashes. That left just one R18 TDI left for Audi but one is all they needed. This was the tightest Le Mans of recent memory with the #9 Peugeot 908 and the remaining Audi R18 battling it out to the last second. Peugeot did finish in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place and gave Audi all they could handle along with some questionable blocking. Congratulations to Audi but what is most important is that nobody was hurt in a dramatic race.
