• Renntech breaks own 55 AMG kompressor / SLR record with a 10.29 @ 134 mph 1/4 mile pass in their modified SLR

      Congratulations, yet again, to Renntech for raising the bar for the SLR as well as the M113/M155 supercharged 55 AMG Mercedes V8. We had known about this run for a little while now but no proof was posted. Well, Renntech finally put a video up along with some specs validating the record. Renntech claims this SLR puts out 634 whp with a modified pulley, custom tuning, Renntech exhaust, and a high volume intercooler pump. The car was run with drag radials as well as with a new transmission cooler.

        DAMN 134 is flying!! and look at that 60ft,most awd cars dont do that

        1.555 is ridiculous! And they are doing this in Florida at Palm Beach International which isn't the fastest track in the world.
