      Last week we brought you the initial pictures of the build process for the DCT oil pan. You saw one side of the pan and some users asked about seeing the other side. Well, here are the final machining photos revealing the completed pan. As you can see, there are fairly deep fins cut into it for cooling as well as a custom M logo specifically for the BimmerBoost M3. Hey, that's how we roll.

        i love that work on the pan...... very nice.

        The ///M logo jus screams baller. i love it.

        sticky once this dct build is done will your car be ready to hit the street?

        No, the motor will need to be installed and Gintani and I will need to figure out what SC setup to go with. I would be lying if I were to say I'm not concerned about the built motor SC as there still seem to be issues to work out and we were thinking of getting pretty crazy with my setup.

        I'm hoping by the time the car is back we will be ready to rock. I am thinking I will go with a big boost YSI, it will make the most sense but there is no proper running YSI setup yet. I really want that blower though...

        excuse my ignorance but whats so special about a ysi as reguards the normal vortech blowers?
        i no everyone loves turbo setups but honestly to me a properly setup centrifugal just rocks, i love that fact we keep that ///M throttle response.
        Man i drove a z06 with a vortech setup and HOLY $#@!........... power EVERYWHERE in the rev range, truely awesome thing to drive.

        YSI is just a vortech blower just a bigger one than the T-trim, much bigger.

        Looking good sticky!

        That machining work looks great. I would've carried the fins to the edges of the M logo though. Follow the contour. That's just me though.

        I'm surprised that with all the work being done on the car you haven't found a way to turbo it rather than using an SC. But still can't wait for the final outcome. Good luck.

        Turbo would just cause way too many headaches, someone else can do that.

        Looks amazing. T trim could probably get you the
        numbers your looking for if ysi turns into a headache. I want to see this car shredding the streets.

        To see its potential the motor really needs something the size of a YSI I think. It just seems the YSI creates a lot of issue that have not been solved yet. Don't know why nobody looks into procharger either.
