• Prior Design steals and modifies BimmerBoost F12 M6 renderings without permission

      Recently, Prior Design released a "teaser" of their upcoming 6 series bodykit. Now, Prior Design has no real photos of their body kit so they released a rendering. A rendering they have stolen from BimmerBoost and our designer Wild-Speed. Pictures below prove that Prior Design has taken our photos without permission and edited them. Please look at the front and rear of the car as well as the reflection in the windows and the sides to substantiate this.

        Some similarities, but looks different to me.

        Both look awesome and if it looks anything like this, it's my next car.

        It's the exact same thing with the bumpers modified....

        It is clear they used the initial rendering as a basis. PD toned down the highlight points. The three square LEDs look like KITT from Knight Rider. They are charging $9,995 for the aero package. I inquired about the exhaust tip treatment in relation to the OE tips and how they plan to address it.

        Exactly, how did the get the same rear and exhaust? Our design influenced theirs and it isn't right for them to do that without giving credit.

        It is plain as day. They color they chose is terrible. And they turned the wheels a little with different rims, which was a good call. But in the end they didn't try to hide the fact they "borrowed" the rendering that someone went through a lot work to complete. The F12/F13 M6 will be very cool. I hope the look of the is aggressive.

        A small detail in the original rendering and not in the copy, on the rear valance Wild Speed chose to incorporate the Air Curtain from the E82 1M Coupe above the exhaust tips. Excellent detail there. Click here to enlarge.
        The PD rear valance is a little more fussy looking.
