This car was tuned in Massachussets by OE Tuning dealer Brentuning. The car is completely stock on 93 octane fuel. Solid gains through the curve of 15 wheel horsepower and 18 wheel torque are seen. This dyno is a dynapack, which is a hub dyno. There is a visible torque dip at 5000 rpm which we are not sure what to attribute to and will try to get further details on. ...

The Unimog is cool in a lot of ways. Big trucks are just plain cool and Mercedes making one for 60 years is cool in of itself. Here is a modern take on the 1951 Unimog. It is an open cabin design, just like the original. This concept is based on a modern chassis with modified suspension and some giant wheels. The color was inspired by the green poison dart frog. Ok, Audi, come on now. A few days back we reported that Audi was in some hot water for "sampling" Eminem's music and mimicking aspects of the Chrysler Imported from Detroit ad. An Audi representative has responded to a lawsuit filed by the music publisher by claiming that the ad is not an advertisement. Huh? We aren't making it up, an Audi representative stated, "The video referred to is not an advertisement." Good luck with that guys. ...

We already showed you the rear of the new ML but thanks to a German brochure we have now have pictures of the final and complete design. The pictures aren't the highest quality scans, but they show enough. The design is hardly ground breaking, pretty mild actually. The major difference seems to be the interior which is markedly improved. Expect an official reveal at Frankfurt. ...

The design of the new F20 1 series is controversial, to say the least. BMW has made plenty of controversial styling decisions over the past decade so I suppose we should not be surprised. However, what is interesting with this car is that an amateur designer released his view of a facelift to improve the car and it's amazing how much these small changes improve the look. Take a look at the before and after photos here and wonder why the BMW designers did not take the same direction. ...

Audi driver Martin Tomczyk won the race managed to hold off Ralf Schumacher. Tomczyk started on the pole and used it to his advantage continually increasing his lead over the field. Audi took 1st and 3rd with Schumacher in 2nd for Mercedes. Mercedes still maintains the manufacturer standing in 1st place with a slight edge. ...

The younger Schumacher continues to do well in DTM. Hey, at least one Schumacher is getting on the podium for Mercedes, right? A total of 6 Mercedes drivers finished in the top 10 but Audi took their second victory, making it 2-1 in their favor thus far in the season. Mercedes does still lead the driver and team standings but it's very tight, as DTM should be. ...

Well, the weekend did not go well for Tom Coronel as he crashed in Race 1 finishing last. However, two of the other BMW 320 TC cars finished in 2nd and 3rd in race 1. In race 2, Coronel was the top BMW in 4th place. The Chevy Cruze continues to dominate winning both races. The next race in June 15th in the Czech Republic. Just bad luck for Coronel crashing and then overheating. ...

This is much better than your typical Autocar video. For one, the car isn't being tested while it's raining since they are not in Britain and instead in Spain. We suggest they make that a permanent change. The car looks and sounds fanstastic, great exhaust note. It's pretty surprising to hear the reviewer claim the C63 steering feel is better than that of the M3. That is a bold claim as Mercedes traditionally has lacked vs. BMW in this area. The reviewer also ends up saying the car is more entertaining than the M3 which is another bold claim. Direct comparison, please. ...

We understand the need for personalization and modifying cars. We also understand when some tuners take it a bit too far but they are usually doing so to try to make a statement and get attention. This on the other hand, we don't even know what the hell this is. It's as if someone just randomly threw as much crap as they could on top of a Cayenne. This is a car from Ontario, Canada and we would like an explanation as to what the owner was thinking. We feel sorry for the poor car. ...

This video is in German but the video speaks for itself and just is ridiculously cool. GRIP took a MAN racing truck and pitted it against a C63 AMG on the road course for an atypical comparison. What is amazing in all of this is just how fast this race truck is! There is a part in the video where you see the truck coming up behind the C63 and we can imagine would it be like to have that monster in your rear view mirror. Intimidating, to say the least. The fourth race of the season takes place tomorrow, June 5th. Qualifying has taken place with Tom Coronel and his BMW 320 TC qualifying in 4th. Chevrolet is currently dominating the series in 1st place in the Manufacturer Standings with BMW in 3rd. Coronel is 7th overall in the driver standings. This comes hot on the heals of the information that the 911 is getting a 7 speed and the Boxster is getting a 4 cylinder. What is interesting to note is that Porsche is already testing the 911 turbo and that both the Boxster and Turbo appear with 20 inch wheels which it looks like they may be standard on the 991 turbo. Some readers may remember (hey, we believe in you guys) that Audi released the R8 GT coupe a few months back. Well this is the convertible version, also limited to 333 units. The car is just under 190 pounds lighter than the standard V10 Spyder. It also gets a power bump just like the coupe, 560 horses. No idea how much money it is but considering the coupe starts at $198,000, this is not going to be cheaper. ...

Turns out the photo leaked early was not a joke. There is going to be a lot of controversy over this design, that is for sure. There will be a plethora of diesel models in Europe but what is interesting is the car is getting the new turbo four cylinder N20 motor putting our 247 horses. A sedan and coupe version have not been confirmed so it may be that the US will get the hatchback and the coupe/sedan will be the rumored 2 series. ...

The Aston Martin Virage is the new GT in the Aston range designed to sit between the DB9 and DBS. The car has a 6.0 liter V12 putting out 490 horsepower. Auto Express, British auto-journalists, decided to compare it to the SLS AMG. We mentioned they were British for a reason, as they pick the Aston over the SLS, big surprise. Why? Well, actually they say they pick it because of the interior and because it is an Aston Martin. Seriously guys? The SLS as a performance car is lightyears ahead of the Virage sporting the tired old V12. The DBS isn't a match for the SLS, and neither is the lower performance Virage. ...
